The
American Red Cross Honors Smith Debnam
Raleigh, NC– The American Red Cross (ARC) honored
Smith Debnam Narron Drake Saintsing & Myers, L.L.P. and
other corporate sponsors at the ARC's 91st Annual
meeting, held on June 24, 2008 at the North Raleigh
Hilton. The ARC presented Smith Debnam with its
Financial Development award for the firm's 2007
contributions. Smith Debnam attorneys and staff donated
more than $13,000.00.
Jerry Myers, Smith Debnam's Managing Partner, accepting
the ARC award on behalf of the firm said, " I am proud
of the generosity shown by our attorneys and staff. I am
pleased that the American Red Cross recognized our
contributions, though we never expected to receive an
award for doing what we believe is the right thing to
do." In addition to the financial contributions Smith
Debnam has made to the American Red Cross, the firm
regularly conducts on-site blood drives, and staff
member April Eldridge will be contributing her time. Ms.
Eldridge was recently elected to serve on the ARC Board
of Directors for a three-year term.
