Raleigh, N.C. (January 4, 2023) – Smith Debnam today announced that attorney Connie Carrigan has been named to Business North Carolina Magazine’s 2023 Legal Elite. The 22nd edition marks the third consecutive year Carrigan has made the list.
Since 2002, Business North Carolina Magazine has honored exceptional lawyers with Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite, a listing of the state’s top lawyers in business-related categories. Winners are chosen not by the publication’s editors but by the state’s lawyers. Business North Carolina Legal Elite remains unique as the only award allowing every state’s active lawyer to participate.
Carrigan has been practicing in the field of small business representation since 1990 and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. She regularly lectures on topics ranging from employment law to business advice and litigation. She’s also an avid writer on these topics, benefiting attorneys and businesses seeking advice and counsel on these matters.
Carrigan is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the North Carolina and Raleigh-Wake chapters of SHRM. She graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University and received her J.D. from Campbell University School of Law.
