The ECU Foundation Board is the governing body for the ECU Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on philanthropic initiatives to support the university.
The ECU Foundation Board of Directors seeks individuals who are passionate supporters of East Carolina University and possess the expertise necessary to provide fiduciary oversight and contribute to the Foundation’s strategic direction. Taylor has demonstrated her commitment to ECU through her involvement in the university community and philanthropic investments.
With her appointment to the ECU Foundation Board of Directors, Taylor will play an active role in shaping the Foundation’s philanthropic initiatives and enhancing the university’s stature both locally and abroad. Her experience in the field of law, specifically in creditors’ rights, will be valuable in supporting the Recruitment & Engagement Committee, a subcommittee of the ECU Foundation Board that focuses on recruiting and training new directors to ensure active director engagement in the foundation’s mission.

She earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University Law School and a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University.
