Raleigh, N.C. (June 24, 2019) – Smith Debnam today announced the addition of attorney Joseph A. Davies to the firm. Davies joins Smith Debnam as an associate attorney within the firm’s construction law section. Davies will concentrate his practice in the area of construction law and litigation, representing general contractors and subcontractors, as well as property managers, landlords, commercial tenants, equipment rental companies, and building material suppliers.
Prior to joining Smith Debnam, Davies was an associate at Vann Attorneys where he focused on construction law, landlord-tenant disputes, business and shareholder disputes, and employment law. Davies earned his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Richmond and his J.D. with honors from Duke University School of Law. He is licensed to practice before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and all federal and state courts in North Carolina.
